Oak Furniture Land
With over twenty years' experience in the UK furniture industry, Oak Furniture Land is the UK's largest retailer of solid hardwood furniture.
Developed organically off the back of the Container Clearance Company which operated exclusively on eBay and had such success as the first enterprise for JB Global, Oak Furniture Land has quickly established itself at the top of the hardwood furniture industry. Currently they employ over 250 devoted staff members panning across the whole spectrum of the business, from design and manufacture to delivery and aftercare.
Rather than act as a wholesaler Oak Furniture Land designs, sources and distributes large volumes of top quality hardwood products directly to the public and commercial hospitality industry which allows them to keep overheads down to a minimum. In turn, they pass on these savings to their customers which then allows for the highest quality products to be supplied at the lowest possible prices which presently is across approximately 150,000 orders a year.
All stock is received, processed and dispatched through their 200,000 square foot distribution centre and the baton is then passed on to their in-house delivery network, JB Direct. By operating in this fashion it allows for every stage of the process to be controlled internally in order to ensure that the high standards expected are kept up right from design to delivery.
The mentality and ethos of the company has paved the way for exceptional growth year on year which was acknowledged in both 2010 and 2011 by our inclusion in The Sunday Times Fast Track 100; a prestigious league table of the fastest growing companies in the UK. Since the tail end of 2010 the company has now opened twelve showrooms nationwide and currently sells over 22 ranges of solid Oak, Mango and Mahogany furniture, including oak sideboards and oak coffee tables.
All of these factors have played a part in the success of Oak Furniture Land with the company currently standing firm as the market leader for hardwood furniture and showing no signs of slowing down.
